Spider-Man 3 Brings Back Amazing Spider-Man's Jamie Foxx In A Shocking Way!

Stories are circulating that Jamie Foxx could return as Electro as the villain in Spider-man 3, which is super surprising but really interesting.

It is a total WTF, but it would be great if the cinematic MCU got their on screen Multi-Verse going and dove deep into the treasure trove of the Spider-Verse stories.

Jamie Foxx's Electro is from an alternate Spider-Man world as shown in Amazing Spider-Man 2 in which he battled Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.

Andrew Garfield was an adequate Peter Parker, but much more morose and brooding than Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield’s soulful approach would make a great Ben Reilly aka the Scarlet Spider.

Eyebrows get raised and imagination stirs:

  • How would this Electro get to the Earth-199999* universe of the MCU?

  • Would it be using the technology featured in the animated masterpiece, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse?

  • Is this Amazing Spider-Man’s Electro or is Jamie Foxx simply portraying the MCU’s Electro?

  • Another thought comes to mind.  Since, we saw J. Jonah Jameson at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, is that a clue? Is that movie’s title a clue?

Far From Home…

HOW DO WE REALLY KNOW THAT MCU’S SPIDER-MAN IS STILL IN THE MCU UNIVERSE DURING OR AFTER THE EVENTS OF SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME.

If he is really far from home, maybe he is no longer in the MCU.

Mysterio’s fake origin story was that he was dumped from another dimension, but what if it did happen, or that was a misdirection so we would not expect it to happen to MCU’s Peter Parker by the conclusion of that movie?

Or the Disney-Marvel team is just doing fan service and we are getting MCU J. Jonah and MCU Electro.

In my opinion, it is far more fascinating to surprise the audience and reveal MCU Peter Parker is lost somewhere else than his own reality.

Fans are hoping Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland have a Spider-Men team up in an MCU film.  They should throw in Jake Johnson and Chris Pine as well for good-measured fun with their versions of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.  Hell, toss in Spider-Ham for comic relief.

Earth-199999 is the designated universe number for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a shared fictional universe which crosses over superhero films and television produced by Marvel Studios.
